The decision you made to to carry out the baby to term was the best decision for you. Yes, you could have have chose to have an abortion once you knew you were pregnant. You knew you couldn’t be a great parent at your age, so you created a plan to have the baby adopted. All theses decisions were the best decisions you could have made. Your decision to not get an abortion, your decision to find parents that are able to care for the baby, and your decision to carry the baby to term was the best because they were decisions that you made. The power to make your own choices and not have people tell you what you can and can’t do is what was important.
But when it comes to Roe versus wade, i think the government should keep it. Why should they keep it? Because thousands of women rely on planned parenthood each year. Keeping planned parenthood should stay legal because it gives women the choice and an option if they ever need it. The power of the choice is why it should stay legal. If it would stay legal, women would have the choice to use or to not use the services that planned parenthood provides. Some people feel strongly against abortions and planned parenthood. Those people think that planned parenthood should not exist. I think that if they feel so strongly against planned parenthood, they shouldn’t use it. Keeping planned parenthood doesn’t force people to use their services. It gives them the option to use the service they provide if they really need it. IT gives a person a choice on a very personal decision that could change people’s lives for the long run. Planned parenthood and Roe versus Wade should stay legal in the united states. Let women make their own decisions when it comes to their body. Only 3% of planned parenthood is actually abortions. So why freak out about abortions, when 80% of all abortions are done in the first trimester. So that really small number of abortions are done because women have a choice and an option in what they want to do with their own lives/bodies. Planned parenthood is not just for women, men and teens also use it. So keep the option open for whoever needs it. Keep planned parenthood legal, keep abortions legal.
